On behalf of the organising committee of the National Secondary Deputy and Assistant Principals’ Conference in Wellington it is my pleasure to extend a very warm welcome to all secondary and area school Deputy and Assistant Principals from across New Zealand to attend the conference from 1 – 3 June 2011.
Wellington is the perfect location for a conference. Not only is it conveniently located for visitors from around the country, and well-versed in staging successful conferences, it also boasts an enormous amount of things to see and do.
Wellington has the best of everything on offer: from wonderful dining experiences to Te Papa, from the Karori Sanctuary experience to ferry rides across the harbour.
The conference committee has been planning this event for two years and we have a wide ranging programme of keynote speakers and workshops that will provide choice for all participants.
The venue is the Michael Fowler Centre in the centre of the city and is close to a huge variety of bars and restaurants and other amenities.
