Call for Papers  The NZABE Conference Committee is pleased to accept submissions for a range of presentation types.   The conference will provide a venue whereby academics have an environment within which there can be  a free exchange of viewpoints and delegates can receive comments or alternative perspectives on their  work. It is expected that at least one of the authors will register for and present the paper at the conference.  Abstracts must be submitted electronically through this website. Instructions for the various types of submissions are detailed below including refereed and non-refereed  papers, workshops and poster presentations.   Presentations should relate to the conference theme with a focus on teaching and learning.   The Conference Committee will schedule Subject Forums during the conference which will provide  opportunities for delegates to discuss issues related to curriculum. These forums will be hosted by  subject experts. Critical Dates: Closing date for abstract submission 22 July 2011 Closing date for refereed full papers 22 July 2011 Authors advised of acceptance/rejection 19 August 2011 Submission changes to be received 2 September 2011 Early registration closes                                  10 September 2011 Re-Accessing your Abstract Submission When you submit your abstract you will be given an access key.  If you wish to submit a new abstract or replace an existing abstract you can do this through the abstract link prior to the closing date of 1 July 2011. Final Presentation: Presenters should bring their final presentation to the conference on a memory stick or CD. A technician will be on-site to load your presentation.  However you will be emailed 2-3 weeks prior to the conference by the organisers who will ask for you to email your presentation if you have it ready.
