Bruce Chapman
Historic Places Trust
Bruce is a Lawyer, Geographer and Planner by training
and started his career in Government and with the
OECD in Paris. In 1992 he joined Carter Holt Harvey
and after a number of senior corporate and production
management roles was appointed Chief Executive of
the NZHPT in 2006.
Bruce has held governance positions with the New Zealand Forest Industries Council, the
Employers and Manufacturers Association (Northern), Business New Zealand and the New
Zealand Centre for Advanced Engineering. He is currently a Trustee of the New Zealand
Antarctic Heritage Trust.
