Opportunities
The New Zealand Pain Society has grants available for conference to all
members of the Society.
Qualifications
for Funding:
You MUST work in the field of pain. Priority of application
consideration will be given to:

The grant needs to be of benefit
to applicant's daily work, enhance their organisation, the NZPS Inc. or
benefit patients in their care.
Guidelines and online application forms can be found on the NZPS

under Membership/Benefits of Membership. The Committee reviews
applications as they are received and will contact you about the
outcome of your application.

A ticket to the Happy Hour is included with all FULL registrations and
we welcome you to attend.

you have registered for a special interest group meeting or a
single day and wish to attend the Happy Hour function you may purchase
a ticket on the online registration form.

Conference
Dinner at Redwood Forest Sails and Skyline Skyrides
Saturday, 25 July - 7:00pm
Set high on
the side of Mount Ngongotaha with extensive views of Rotorua city,
Lake Rotorua, geothermal areas and
surrounding areas is Skyline Skyrides. Enjoy a gondola ride to the takeoff
point for a unique way to enter the conference dinner venue – luge to the Redwood
Forest Sails where we will enjoy a night of great food and dancing.
Redwood Forest Sails is a fully enclosed facility
with gas heating and two brazier fireplaces.
Partners are welcome! Dinner includes:
- dinner
- gondola ride
- luge ride
(alternate transport is available for those unable or not wishing to
luge)
- entertainment
The venue has access for
people with limited mobility and wheelchairs.
Dress is
smart casual. Some wine is provided but you will need to bring cash or a credit
card if you wish to purchase additional
drinks.
A ticket to the dinner is NOT included in your conference registration.
Cost: $90 per person
Membership
Join or renew your membership to The New Zealand Pain Society on the
conference online registration and receive:
- a reduced fee to
the annual conference,
- a subscription
to Ngau Mamae, the Quarterly Publication of the New Zealand
Pain Society Inc.
- access to The
New Zealand Pain Society resources.

registration fees must be made prior to the conference.
- Credit
card - Pay online with our data encrypted secure server. Instructions
will be emailed to you in your registration confirmation letter.
- Post your
invoice and payment to: NZ Pain Society ASM, c/- Conferences &
Events Ltd, PO Box 1254, 7040, Nelson
- All
registrations must be accompanied by credit card details, a cheque
(drawn on a NZ bank) or direct credit in New Zealand
dollars
- Please make
cheques payable to: “Pain Conference 2009”
- Overseas cheques
cannot be accepted
- Direct credits
should reference your invoice number and organisation. Account
information can be found on your invoice.

Cancellation
and Refund Policy
Registration
cancellations must be notified in writing to the conference
secretariat. Cancellations received by 10 June, 2009 will not incur a
cancellation fee, however, cancellations received after 10 June will
incur a $75 administration fee. No refund will be given for
cancellations received after 8 July, 2009. Substitute attendees will be
accepted at any time.
