**You will be asked to upload proof of status for these registration categories during the registration process.
ANZGG NZ Rivers Group Members: If you are a member of ANZGG or the NZ Rivers Group, you will be emailed a discount code to use to receive the 10% discount.
IAG Member: Participants who are financially active members of, or are living in a country with, a National Scientific Member financially settled with the International Association of Geomorphology's (IAG's) annual fee.
Proof of Status: IAG/ANZGG/Rivers Group Member/Student/IAG Fellow and IAG Retiree:
Please ensure you have a single document prepared (to be uploaded below when prompted) that shows evidence for any of the relevant registration categories below:
IAG member - Evidence of your country of residence or membership to an IAG National Scientific Member;
Student - Evidence of your student status and programme of study (e.g. 'Undergraduate or Masters' or 'PhD');
IAG Honorary Fellow - Evidence of your Honorary Fellowship from the International Association of Geomorphology
Retirees - Evidence of retirement status (e.g. Emeritus) or proof of age (65 years or older)
We are a tax-registered entity in New Zealand, so all transactions are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and subject to GST (15%).

Full Registration includes:
- All day conference catering on Monday, Tuesday and Friday (food during morning and afternoon coffee breaks and substantial buffet lunches provided).
- On Thursday food will be provided at the coffee breaks but you are free to leave the conference venue at lunchtime to explore what Christchurch has to offer.
- Welcome Cocktail Reception drinks and canapes on Monday 2 February.
Not included/an additional cost:
- Mid Conference Field Trips on Wednesday 4 February (price range from $40 - $160 NZD).
- Conference Dinner on Thursday 5 February - $140 per person.

- Accommodation: You can book your accommodation during the registration process - we only require your credit card details to secure the booking, no pre-payment is required.

Registration cancellation and refund policy
- Cancellations must be notified in writing by email to [email protected].
- Cancellations received on or before 27 September 2025 will be charged an administration fee of $100.
- No refund will be given for registration cancellations received from 28 September 2025 (including “no shows” at the conference).
- Registrations can be transferred to another delegate at any time.

It is strongly recommended and your responsibility to have insurance to cover medical, travel, and registration expenses in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
